Rui has been specializing in golf tuition for the last 19 years. He is originally from the Azores and for the past 7 years has worked at Batalha Golf Club. Prior to this he furthered his golfing knowledge in England where he worked at Abbey Park G&CC, The Manor of Groves G&CC.
He qualified in 1999 at the Belfry, home of the PGA of Great Britain finishing with Class AAT.

André Medeiros is a PGA Portugal professional, former top-level athlete of 28 years. He began in the mode at 5 years of age at the Golf Course Furnas.
Former student of psychology that is dedicated exclusively to teaching the sport embracing the project Azores Golf Islands.
Located in Fenais da Luz, with fantastic sea views, the golf course of Batalha offers the practice of the sport under a microclimate that allows the practice all year. Optionally, the classes can take place in emblematic golf course of Furnas.

WINTER GOLF ACADEMY
Marc Amort is a fully qualified Golf Professional of the PGA of Germany. After 10 years of playing on several Professional Tours worldwide he now concentrates on teaching the game of golf. From beginners to highly ranked Professionals he teaches all kinds of levels. Germany`s Top Players Christoph Günther (European Challenge Tour Champion) and Marcel Haremza ( several EPDTour titles) are two of his students.
Over the last years Marc Amort invented several recognized practice devices such as the Feedback Putter and the feedback Putt Kit.
By attending seminars regularly and by the experiences made with his golf students he improves the quality of his lessons continuously.
The GOLF Journal voted Marc Amort Top 50 Professional of the Nation in its July 08 edition.
Marc Amort made his examination as Golf Manager with Diploma (IST/GMVD).
Marc Amort is the Head Professional of the Marc Amort Golf Academy based at the Country Club Schloss Langenstein. His Golf Academy has winter bases at Batalha Golf Club Sao Miguel/Azores, Son Julia Hotel Mallorca and Casa Lehmi Alicante.
